The Adelaide room offers delightful old-world charm with a bay window view of autumn leaves above a beautiful rose garden. the cozy and inviting room was perfect for a chilly night, and breakfast, cooked by Andre, featured homemade yogurt and toast in a lovely conservatory, creating a social atmosphere. the neighborhood is picturesque, with walking access to town, making it an excellent location for exploring.
Everything met our expectations.

We had a comfortable stay and recommend it to family and friends. The hotel was nicely decorated and the location was great and beautiful really close to restaurants and other attractions, Launceston and surrounds and the eating / drinking central areas. The breakfast meal was delicious and gorgeous with James and homemade yoghurt, for example. Really enjoyed the location by beautiful rose gardens.

The owner/operators, Julie and Graham, were very gracious hosts. They helped us in recommending good restaurants and sites to visit in Launceston, and accommodations and sites elsewhere in Tasmania. They helped stimulate a very cordial atmosphere among all the guests, and joined in some of the relaxing sessions in the lounge, including providing excellent wine and cheese snacks. The interior of the house was stylish and comfortable, as was the room. The grounds were likewise exquisite. It is clear that they are very meticulous in caring for the Kurrajong House itself as well as for the guests. As a mature couple, we appreciated the policy of not accepting children or young adults. It contributed to the very relaxing atmosphere of our stay.
It was all excellent. It was somewhat sad to learn that the owners are planning to sell the House, after having developed it over the course of 15 years. I recommend that those of you who are thinking about visiting do so sooner rather than later.
